The new 2004 2005 GMC
Yukon XL has many safety features which include; large discs and brake pads
provide impressive braking power and minimal brake fade. For 2004 2005, a
variety of refinements results in even more powerful braking capabilities and
enhanced braking feel at the pedal. To minimize severe intrusion into the cabin
in a side impact, Yukon XL features sturdy steel door beams. And a newly
redesigned Driver Information Center includes fingertip controls for monitoring
over 30 vehicle functions. 4-wheel drive Yukon XL models feature Autotrac,
which automatically engages four-wheel drive when needed. 2WD models feature an
available electronic traction control system for enhanced traction.
The 2004 2005 GMC Yukon
XL Denali is a system to sense your steering wheel position, vehicle speed,
brake pressure, lateral acceleration, and turning rate to adjust the engine
speed and brake pressure to the front wheels to help keep you on your intended
path. Also standard is the GMC Yukon Denali XL 8 button steering wheel controls
provide redundant audio controls and access to features such as the Driver
Information Center and controls for Voice Recognition with OnStar.

Denali comes with Vortec 6000 V8 (standard) with 320 horsepower and a
four-speed automatic transmission electronically controlled with overdrive and
tow/haul mode. And on the 2004 2005 GMC Yukon XL a Vortec V8 (standard) with
285 horsepower with a four-speed automatic transmission, electronically
controlled with overdrive and tow/haul mode.
