Liberty comes with a 210 horsepower 3.7L Power Tech V-6 and allows the Liberty
to tow up to 5000 lbs when properly equipped. (Standard on Limited Edition and
Renegade.) The other available engines for 2004 2005 is th e2.4Ltr Power Tech
I-4 with improved horsepower(Standard on the Liberty Sport.) And with part time
Command Trac or the available full-time Selec Trac 4WD system, The new Jeep
Liberty is one of a few in its class that offers a true low-range mode. Each
4WD system features shift-on-the-fly convenience so you can get dirty whenever
you feel like. Each 4WD system features shift on the fly and the Automatic
Transmission features a reverse gear ratio the same as its first, which
provides more torque when backing up a heavy trailer. (Available with the
Liberty 3.7L Power Tech V-6.)
Loading and Un-Loading is
a breeze with the new models of the Jeep Liberty, just open the swing-gate and
load up nearly 70 cubic feet of cargo (with rear seat folded 2004 2005 models).
