There are two version of
this year's 2004 2005 Ford Thunderbird models ( the convertible and convertible
with removable hard top). Both come with Ford's improved 32 valve 3.9Ltr V-8
with high output characteristics of 4 valves per cylinder, plus dual-overhead
camshaft design with improved engine performance, fuel economy and power, a
total of 280, and torque to 286 ft-pounds. 5-speed automatic O/D transmission
is standard on both models with an optional Select Shift Transmission.
From the outside the new
2004 2005 Ford Thunderbird comes with P235/50VR17 BSW all season tires with
mini spare tire, and 17" painted cast aluminum wheels with 17" mini spare or an
optional 17" chrome wheel included in the Ford Thunderbird premium package.
Among the highlights of
the new 2004 2005 Ford Thunderbird are the premium leather trimmed seats with
6-way power adjust and a leather, 6-way driver and 2-way passenger power seats
and premium leather-trimmed bucket seats with recliners (all standard features
for 2004 2005). Both models of Thunderbird's also come with a AM/FM Stereo w/
in-dash 6-disc CD, clock, and Audiophile Sound System and power windows with
express down on driver side and drop glass features.
Removing the lid on the
new 2004 2005 and for 2004 2005 is easy and quick to do. The top weighs 85
pounds, and it comes with a wheeled storage cart. When the top is removed, the
Ford Thunderbird goes back to being a soft top convertible in a matter of a few
minutes.
The new Ford Thunderbird
comes in five available colors Mountain Shadow Gray, Desert Sky Blue, Midnight
Black, Torch Red or Whisper White. Available interior colors are Saddle, Black
Ink, Torch Red or Whisper White.
For better safety when
driving the new Ford Thunderbird there is a dual airbag supplemental restraint
system with passenger side deactivation switch and Driver and passenger
three-point active restraint system, with Belt Minder. If you have ever locked

all 2004 2005 Ford Thunderbird models.
